Our group focuses on major areas of neuroscience:

Hereditary neuropathy

We aim to discover new treatments for inherited neurological disorders including X-linked dystonia-parkinsonism and DYT1 dystonia.

NEURO-ONCOLOGY

Our research is determined on finding new means to combat incurable brain cancers with immuno-gene therapy and other combination treatments.

BRAIN delivery vehicles

Our vision is to optimize existing and create new  platforms to target payloads to the brain. We apply viral and non-viral methods such as AAV-mediated gene therapy and extracellular vesicle technology for multi-biomolecule transport.

BRAIN biomarkers

Our lab develops new diagnostic tools to monitor brain diseases. In that regard, brain-derived extracellular vesicle isolation from blood aids us to investigate disease-related biomarkers.
